It's been said so many times it has become something of a cliche, but the digital world really does move fast. The latest, most innovative ideas become stale, boring and overused within months. Trends catch on, become mainstream and die off left, right & centre. What all this means as designers & developers is that we never stop learning, we never stop improving our skills and discovering new, better ways to do things. These new skills then get applied to all future websites we build.

At the same time, new technologies open up more possibilities - over the past 5 years mobile phones have become a hugely popular way of accessing the internet, as the most obvious example. We can do things now with transitions (animations) which were impossible just 2-3 years ago and our team are constantly keeping an eye on the latest developments in the areas of user experience & design to ensure we are always able to product modern, user friendly websites with that touch of design excellence which makes a Diligence website stand out from the crowd.

Finally, 'best' is not (just) about how a website looks, design is crucial of course, but the true measure of a website is it's success at achieving its goals. Whether that be selling products, generating leads or gaining membership registrations. As we have grown as a company we have become more and more about achieving those goals for our clients over and above the pure design aesthetics of traditional design companies. We obsess over conversion rates, Google rankings and user statistics every bit as much as we obsess over design. It's simply what Diligence stands for.
